绒毛截面覆盖率是绒毛截面积的总和与地布总面积的百分数。绒毛截面覆盖率高，表示绒面的丰满程度好。

2、绒面绒毛高度

绒面绒毛高度是指割绒后直立于织物表面上单根绒毛的平均高度。绒毛的高度较高时，绒面较直，弹性较差，但绒面比较丰满。

The pile height refers to the average height of a single pile of pile that stands upright on the surface of a fabric after cutting. When the height of the pile is high, the pile surface is straight and has poor elasticity, but the pile surface is fuller.

3、绒面丰满度

绒面的丰满度是指单位面积地布上的绒毛体积。它包含了绒毛的覆盖率与绒毛高度两个因素。绒面丰满度的单位为“密”。“密”数越高，则绒面越丰满。常见的纬平绒的绒面丰满度在11密左右，经平绒的绒面丰满度在15密左右。

The firmness of the pile in plain velvet indicates the degree to which the warp yarn is compressed by the arrangement of weft yarns in the fabric structure.

5、绒面覆盖均匀度

绒面覆盖均匀度是用绒面绒毛经纬向间距的比值来表示。它是关系到能否获得良好平绒风格的一个重要指标。绒毛的覆盖均匀度以越接近100%越好。该指标等于100%时，表示绒毛经纬向的间距相等，这时绒面绒毛分布均匀、丰满、无条影，具有良好的平绒风格。

5. Evenness of suede coverage
The evenness of pile cover is expressed by the ratio of the longitudinal and latitudinal spacing of pile cover. It is an important indicator related to obtaining a good velvety style. The coverage uniformity of the fuzz should be as close to 100% as possible. When the indicator is equal to 100%, it indicates that the spacing between the warp and weft directions of the fluff is equal. At this time, the fluff surface is evenly distributed, full, without any streaks or shadows, and has a good flat fluff style.
